UTG and Elevate have partnered up for another year to offer a robotics/ultimate frisbee camp! Campers will spend half their day building and programming a robot andthe other half outside learning and playing ultimate frisbee. Ultimate Camp will focus on teaching athletes the FUNdamentals of Ultimate Frisbee including throwing, catching, and cutting, all through our small-sided games. No previous experience of Ultimate is necessary to enjoy the program. Elevate will be conducting fun and socially-distanced ultimate frisbee camps for kids aged 7 - 14, of all levels. Loved and trusted by 1000+ parents and their kids, their programs will focus on values rather than perfection. With their high energy coaches and quality programs, your athletes are guaranteed to have fun, in a safe way! Our robotics camp provides campers with a taste of our competitive robotics program. During the week students will cooperate in small teams to build a VEX IQ robot to compete in Vex IQ's worldwide challenge, "Rise Above". Throughout the week students will:

• learn to write code that commands their motors to perform specific functions
• perform the engineering design process to identify flaws and make improvements in their design
• learn and implement fundamental concepts in physics such as gearing, centre of gravity, friction, leverage
• collaborate with team members
